You are probably wondering what a mild mannered techie from Edinburgh is doing with a domain called Wunch.com.

The answer is quite simple.

I co-founded, and work as the Senior Technical Consultant of, a company that has daily contact with those nice people who work for the UK clearing banks.

As anyone who has daily dealings with the banking world will know, people who work for banks and the banking systems themselves, appear to put as many obstacles in the path of doing good business as possible.

This lead, a few years ago, to the definition of the collective noun for this breed, a "Wunch", as in "A Wunch of Bankers".

Now, to those of you out there who don't understand this, let me just say that this phrase is a Spoonerism.
